5 things to do in Pokhara



1. Paragliding




For adventure seeking, paragliding will be the most wonderful experience in Pokhara. The best months for paragliding is November and December .Various Companies are established for paragliding.To get the experience in paragliding,first payment of Rs 7000 should be done to company.Company will lead you to the Sarangkot height via taxi that takes half an hour to reach height.After reaching height, you are ready to fly in the air with professional pilot.The duration is about 20 to 30 minutes including photos and video.You can enjoy beautiful  view of Phewa lake ,Machapuchre himal and Annapurna  during paragliding.



2. Zip flyer


It is also the adventurous activities started in Nepal in 2012.After booking ticket,You will be taken to the sarangkot height and provided a special seat and helmet to travel through the dense forest with the view of mountains and seti river at the speed of 140 km/hr during zip flying. You can enjoy 1.8 km long.Weight should be between 35 kgs ang 125 kgs .


















3. Ultra Flying

It offers a panoramic view of mountains,lakes and villages from the height of 5000 m above the sea level at the speed of 50 to 90km/hr. June to september will be the best season for ultra flying. Depending on the costs ranging from 70 Euro to 198 Euro,you can fly for 15 minutes,30 minutes and 1 hour.





4. Bunjee jumping


Driving of about 20 minutes from lakeside,you will reach grand bunjee site location.Established in pokhara in 2014 as the highest water touch bunjee. For Nepalsese, cost is Rs 3490 per person.You will be guided by the expert instructor before bunjee jumping.Yo will feel about 3 seconds of free fall from the tower about 70 m over the pond.


















5. Phewa lake


It is the most beautiful and second largest lake in nepal.You can hire a boat and take a trip for an hour.Most attraction part is the island temple called Barahi of Goddess Durga and reflection of Annapurna himal and Machhapuchre in the morning.Lake is covered by dense forest and mountains.
