1. Bidhya Devi Bhandari




Bidhya Devi Bhandari was born in 19th june,1960 in Bhojpur.She is  the first female president and second president after the former president Ram Baran Yadav in Nepal receiving 327 votes out of 549 defeating Kul Bahadur Gurung.She was the vice chairperson of Communist party of Nepal(Unified Marxist-Leninist).Her husband Madan Bhandari,popular Nepalese Communist leader died in car accident near Dashdunga.


2. Onsari Gharti Magar





Onsari Gharti Magar is the first female Speaker of the Parliament elected in october 16,2015.She was born in November 14,1977 in janka of Rolpa district.She was the former Deputy Speaker of Nepal's Parliament.She married  to Barsha Man pun,secretary of UPCN(Maoist).During second assembly,she was elected to CA(Constituent Assembly) from Rolpa-2.


3.Priyanka Karki





Priyanka Karki is VJ,singer,a model,a dancer,a choreographer and won the title "Miss Teen" in 2005.She was born in 27th February,1987 in kathmandu.She got Bachelor degree in Film making from U.S in 2011.After the blockbuster hit of  'Oda number 6' ,'Nai navanuu la-2' grossing over NRS 5 crores ,established her as a successful and powerful versatile actors.She did cover songs also and her song 'Swatantra' was loved by the people.


4. Mira Rai





Mira Rai,a young woman who named her in multiple ultra marathon champion was born in Bhojpur.She started her winning in marathon in her local hills conducted by the villages.And after winning the another title 50 km Pulchoki ultra marathon,she came to kathmandu in 2013 with the help of her friends and last year she went to Italy for an International ultra run and won the title.When she won the title of Mont-blanc marathon of 80 km,she became famous all over the world and after that she won the another title International race in Hongkong of 50 km uphill marathon called Asian Sky -running Ultra champ.



5. Archana Paneru





Archana paneru whose dream is to become a pornstar was born in Mumbai.While studying in class 10 in Little Buddha School in Mahendranagar,she uploaded a nude pictures and videos in social media and was expelled from the school.She has the strong support of her mother Sunita paneru and her idol is Sunny Leone.an Indian Pornstar.Her activities is against the Nepalese culture and society.

5 things to do in Pokhara

  



1. Paragliding




For adventure seeking, paragliding will be the most wonderful experience in Pokhara. The best months for paragliding is November and December .Various Companies are established for paragliding.To get the experience in paragliding,first payment of Rs 7000 should be done to company.Company will lead you to the Sarangkot height via taxi that takes half an hour to reach height.After reaching height, you are ready to fly in the air with professional pilot.The duration is about 20 to 30 minutes including photos and video.You can enjoy beautiful  view of Phewa lake ,Machapuchre himal and Annapurna  during paragliding.



2. Zip flyer


It is also the adventurous activities started in Nepal in 2012.After booking ticket,You will be taken to the sarangkot height and provided a special seat and helmet to travel through the dense forest with the view of mountains and seti river at the speed of 140 km/hr during zip flying. You can enjoy 1.8 km long.Weight should be between 35 kgs ang 125 kgs .













3. Ultra Flying

It offers a panoramic view of mountains,lakes and villages from the height of 5000 m above the sea level at the speed of 50 to 90km/hr. June to september will be the best season for ultra flying. Depending on the costs ranging from 70 Euro to 198 Euro,you can fly for 15 minutes,30 minutes and 1 hour.



4. Bunjee jumping


Driving of about 20 minutes from lakeside,you will reach grand bunjee site location.Established in pokhara in 2014 as the highest water touch bunjee. For Nepalsese, cost is Rs 3490 per person.You will be guided by the expert instructor before bunjee jumping.Yo will feel about 3 seconds of free fall from the tower about 70 m over the pond.



5. Phewa lake


It is the most beautiful and second largest lake in nepal.You can hire a boat and take a trip for an hour.Most attraction part is the island temple called Barahi of Goddess Durga and reflection of Annapurna himal and Machhapuchre in the morning.Lake is covered by dense forest and mountains.
